Using DSL with WINMX help please:)

I really don't know much about computers except for the last time I used WINMX was with cable and everything worked fine. Just recently I started DSL well just yesterday and I'm so lost. I should be able to use a primary connection right, since I'm not behind a router???? Atleast thats what I thought but when I search for things using Primary I get nothing. Anyone know why this is? And when I search with secondary I get a million results, which is great except when I actually want to download these files I have to click on 50 titles before I get a download to start.

If anyone could help me with settings or anything I would GREATLY appreciate it. I live for music and it sucks my music days are practically over. I love WINMX and I can't believe its being annoying at the moment.

Your DSL ISP may be blocking the ports WinMX uses by default for primary connections. I'd try some different ones, and make sure they're allowed in your firewall.
