    eMule

    Whenever i start up eMule, it always get's me to set it up again. I have to go thru all the stuff to see which ports im using and what not . does anyone else get this?? how can iget rid of it? or is it normal.?

    Have you tried uninstalling, deleting the folder, reinstalling?

    Go to RUN, then type REGEDIT. In Registry click File > Find to find eMule registry entries & remove them to do a clean uninstall. *Warning: Backup your Registry before removing them!

    eMule keeps it settings in ini files in the eMule folder. There are no relevant registry entries for it.

    there is a setting to use a random port each time emule is run, turn it off

    Make sure you have an admin account (assuming you're on XP) - sounds to me like it can't write to the ini file
