With Shareaza 2.1, the search ends very soon with few results. Then the "Search more" option is available which gives another 100 results (as explained in the sahareaza wiki).
How can I tweak shareaza to continue searching without constantly pressing search more, or at least overcome the 100 result limit ?
refine your search so you don't need more then a hundred results to find what you want
On the first search it finds over 100 results. This are enough because after that the download starts it searches again for sources..so no worry for sources.
They can Stop Napster the Company, BUT never Napster the Idea...
i'm looking for stuff that has the same name as common files on the network, but is different. this is why i need to search a lot to find the needle in the haystack.
then you should, when you find ONE of the files you want, to browse those users files, chat them up, and quit trying to flood the network with search request
I know how, but im not telling.... neener neener neener...
It would appear that you are not here to contribute to the forums.

oh... ok... i'll tell... but just this once.... since hunter asked so nicely... just download a macro program and script your mouse movement and clicks to automate the task for you... only works unattended...
Gee youre a big help to the members here. About as big as a pinch of salt during open heart surgery. You have the knowledge, why not use it?

Increase
- Gnutella.MaxHits (Limit of 4096)
- Gnutella.MaxResults (Limit of 1000)
These limits only apply to the set number; more results and hits will flow in after active searching has completed.
done that already.
i've finally found the files on an irc channel and got from there.
thanks for the tips.
