If you have to choose right now, which one do you prefer? All have screenshots. Both is very popular fast paced futuristic pc multiplayer online shooter.
Haven't really looked into the other games, but I've always been a big UT fan - so UT 2006 all the way :)
UT 2006
Sorry but from what I have seen, Unreal engine games all work great and if UE 3 works great in the way that half life 2 worked perfect, I am all for it
The problem with quake 4 is the engine. Doom 3's engine was great for lag fests. So I hope that Quake 4 fixes that but in the case that it doesn't, UT2006 is the way to go :)

Sorry, It's supposed to be Unreal Tournament 2007. This means it will be released on 2007.

This gamespot site have a preview of this game, an interview of this game, and screenshots of this game. Preview describes the unreal engine 3.0 that will be the graphics engine for the game. Obviously Unreal Tournament 2007 did not want to compete with Quake 4 for game of the year 2006 like Unreal tournament and Quake 3 did. It's going to be a big fight and neither companies are going to have a good time gaining profit. You can buy both games but you only got enough time to play either quake 4 or UT 2007. So in the end, you still need to pick one to play. For me, it would be unreal tournament 2007. I do not see the graphical change from doom 3 to quake 4 but I do see the change from Unreal Tournament 2004 to 2007. One major change I see is I can see their faces better. I don't really know how to describe the change, you will have to look at the screenshots and compare them. Of course we will also need to look into gameplay. For me, unreal tournament 2007 is for gamers that like to plan out their actions like use what sort of weapons, which way should I go into the enemy's base or how to reach the base are some examples. Quake 4 is pure action, blow up stuff, kill every enemy in your path without any planning. I am a gamer that like to plan out my actions or to better express it, I like to use my brain. Not only does it provide a more fun experience, but it also looks more realistic as there is no war without planning. There is the old saying again. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
I guess im going to have to buy both. But i think Quake 4 is going to top the charts. UNT 2007 looks great, but after doom3 lets see what idsoft can do.
I want UT 06 it looks cool but I will probibly get Quake 4 afterwards.
I wonder if NIN is gonna do the soundtrack for Quake IV...
I'm not even supposed to be here today!
Some of the most fun I've ever had gaming was playing UT:GOTY for hours and hours and hours on end. I'll probably get back into FPS as soon as my new desk gets here,.. kinda hard to aim when your monitor is on a stool and you use your lap as a mouse pad. (But dont feel too bad for me, its an athlon 64 box sitting on the floor).
Oh, and my vote is for UT 2007.

Unless you are the following people, I do not particularly wish to associate with you:

That's it for now. This list will be updated whenever I feel like it.

How's about them apples?
Arena twitch shooters are done for me.
... like banging rocks together... friggin' caveman games.
Unreal Tournament is going to kick ass, it always has done, whether its graphics, or just game play, so i guess i'm going for UT 2006.
UT Classic still kicks ass!
I have been a fan of quake, but i like where UT is headed. Quake is kind of stale...
Quake is getting old while UT brings out something completely different haveing more options to choose from while quake is just the same as it was b4 but with better graphics and different levels so UT all the way
RIP MOTHER FUCKERS
