Whoever wrote that bulletin board software did a poor job.

mmm, its the same canned version of vbulletin that ZP uses. Its not a perfect world, and if you had refreshed the page a moment later, it may have gone away.

Are you sure? It doesn't look like vbulletin to me...

No im not sure, and what does it matter? Let me rephrase, "its another canned vbulletin styled hosting intergace similiar to the one that ZP uses"

Why ask here, are you a webmaster familiar with that software? I didnt think so, and neither am I.

If he wants to know badly enough, freaking ask the site http://www.wr.ca/support.php

ah the memories. :blah Reminds me of the good old days when you were once a prevalent fixture here...sort of like walking into an ice cream shop and expecting to find chocalate there.
is my favourite flavor back again?
    sure do hope so.

It's probably because the software handles sessions based on cookies (maybe to a lesser extent... IP address too... but that would be stupid due to proxy servers on networks!!)

If this was purely cookie-related (which is probable!!)... it could occur by the user logging in twice in two different browsers (one IE.. the other Nutscrape/Firefox/etc.), by logging in on two different computers... OR.. as two seperate users on the same PC. (different cookies for different users)
