program error

I just upgraded to the 2.7 beta4. It seems to be working ok but just recently i have been having problems with my avi preview player.When I start to play some of the files , A program error occurs[ kazaa.core.exe.has generated errors and will be closed by windows] I did a clean install .But I have been reading about something called kshield but I did not come across or can I find anything on my tools,options or any where else.I forgot to mention my 2.7 is a build? Do I need something else.[download additional tools]or could this be because of a certain file .I have been doing a virus scan everyday and running adaware spybot as well.please help

I agree with VAMPYRE BLADE.

If you are using Kaaza then you have no need of complaining when things don't work right in your OS. It IS what viri and trojans do.

I think maybe it is time for me to switch to another program [sharing] I have tried to stick it out with klite but nothing seems to work as far as all the advice I have been told to try clean install, better upgrades, try this, try that, dont do this! well after all this bullshit I am still back to slow speeds,fakes, and most of all negative feedback from almost everyone.SO before I go I would like to know the best place for me to put my shared folder at so I dont lose any files.Because inthe past when I switched from kazzaa to klite and even did upgrades I could not find my files.until I went back to thier program.[not again] I also would like a little feedback on some other filesharing programs and why I should go with them or why not.Shareaza,ares,bitorrent etc. windows 2000, 56 k, high speed dsl,and I live in the U.S PLEASE? I DONT WANT TO HEAR FROM ANYONE ABOUT KAZAA OR KLITE!!! YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE!!!

Now I have really had it!! Just after I made this last post above I immediately tried to open my shared folder in kazaa and program shut down and stole all my files I had before I came to this shitty program. Its almost seems like kazaa read my post and pulled the plug on me [strange as hell] is it possible this is what happened? IF so what can I do if anything. Now I will never go back.

Before going off to a new share program, I would suggest reloading your OS. To me it sounds like you already got a trojan in your computer. Stuff doesn't usually disappear off a computer without reason. Trojans have gotten to where they are extremely hard to detect and eliminate.

I personally won't recommend you a new p2p app but would tell you there are both recommendations at this site and information about almost every p2p in use here. Find one that sounds good and works for you.
