Getting shareaza working on college LAN

    Hey

I would like to install shareaza on a computer in college but I'm restricted because I'm not a power user or admin! I know it will work once installed and because of where I live, I don't have to worry about the RIAA knocking on my door, pluss, we have no laws against file-sharing! Anyway, is their anywhere I can download the files used to run shareaza so that I would skip over the whole installation process? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

    Much obliged folks... :goodjob

Hmmm... I'm honestly not sure. I'd recommend heading on over to the Shareaza forums and asking them there

If you dont have adminstrative rights on the pc, you're probably screwed.

Is this your computer, or does it belong to the school?

It belongs to the college, I'm just curious that, say I put my shareaza program files on my pen drive or something similar and copied it over to the computer, would it work, as I said above just skip over the installation process... I'd really love to try it because we have download speeds of 2Mb/s!

You can try, but it probably won't work. I glanced at my registry and found several entries that belong to Shareaza.

Please note that I don't advocate trying it on a computer that isn't yours.

You would have to find a program that is specifically designed to be able to run from a CD or USB drive.
