To tell you the truth...I would rather have it that way, than have him trying to create something for money! That is why exeem was such a turn off. He seems to have all of the best things going for him and his client such as: 1.making a BT protocol that is decentralized
    2. still being able to use just plain old regular TORRENTS with his client and not some special version of them with his new client. 3. having the client OPEN SOURCE!! (Thats a Biggie!) 4. not doing it for a profit, but because he just seems to want to make a program that is able to de-centralize the BT protocol. 5. he is even looking at ways for people to use their favorite BT client with his decentralized protocol so they can choose what BT client they would rather use.

Quite frankly, he is biting off a lot. But I still hope he makes it!

    Well thats true.

I'm just thinking that if he is doing it out of boredom, then he could easily become distracted by something else.

Azureus already has decentralized tracking, and supports the standard multi-tracker specification.
And with BTHub like redirecters, which is a dynamic DNS that points the url to that of the optimal online tracker with the largest swarm for the torrent identified by the info_hash, a reliance on a single tracker is already a thing of the past.

Oh, another thing I forgot to add was that he seems to be listening to the folks over at file soup on the forums....which is supposed to be respected in file sharing circles....so mabye he will not get distracted and if he does, then mabye he can create something that can be further developed by the file sharing community as a whole.

This way, it ensures that everyone can add their own "version" of what the client should do. But you are right, I too hope he at least creates a good base for the program to be built upon and a working beta, before he moves onto something else.

Well this program (Anatomic P2P) has not even been completed yet, so I guess the file sharing community will have to wait until he has a working beta before they can test it and see what it can do. Personally, I don't think there will be anything they can make, that will be a TOTALLY anonymous program....but at least they can try to even the odds in the filesharers favor.
