    Where can Limewire go?

What else can be done to make Limewire better. All I can think of allowing it to connect to other networks, however, i'm not sure I would like this (due to possible effect on Gnutella). So what can be done? I am write in thinking that all adware Limewire contains is an ad box? How do people find pro version, is it worth the cost?

Finally, is there any challenges to it. Is Cabros? better than it now (sorry not used it, know very little about it!)

    Thanks in Advance!

There are plenty of things that could make LimeWire better. The Gnutella protocol itself can still be optimized, the memory footprint can be reduced, the interface improved. They may even finally come around and implement a Coral-based DHT.

i like how it is now
i like the way u browse someone and u can click to see there videos, movies, programs etc.
i like how when u share files, it shares the folder u tell it to.
i like the fact that it sets up my library of shared files, and files by type.

    i love it
    . i love limewire pro.
    thanks for your time
    cheers

Is Pro version a drastic improvement in performance? Am I right in thinking that all adware Limewire contains is an ad box?

    Thanks in Advance

LimeWire doesn't contain any adware, - except for the LimeWire PRO link in the basic version...

LimeWIre Pro is not really a drastic improvement in performance. I find the improvement barely noticeable.

Nope, I prefer LimeWire's CVS version. Besides, Credence only has a chance of taking off if LimeWire adds the system to the official version. This thing will not work if most users aren't using it.

dont use java so it can be faster....but that aint gonna happen lol

let users do "specific searches". sometimes, when u want to search for something and type soemthing too specific, limewire window will pop up saying "this is too specific".

I decided to try Limewire tonight because I was bored. I have to say it seems like a lot better program that I thought it would be. I recomend it

aight this is a screenshot of 4.81 Pro (i guess thats the latest)

it crashed once, when i tried to view connections screens
i downloaded 3 files, and i got good speed, searches were very fast

but look at the fucking memory footprint (thats aint no footprint thats a dagger thru my Ram)
45MB (with no hashing, no searching, no downloading, no uploading,)
