hello everyone, I am very new at file sharing, and just as new to pc's. Soplease forgive me for any stupid questions.I have been able to download and upload files many times.I am able to upload very very fast. But it seems to take a very long time downloading. Were talking days . I was wondering if this could be an issue because of my service provider.m.s.n. Or if this could be because of a firewall.or a blocked port? But I would'nt think so, because of all the downloads and uploads I have already recived .I have been sharing almost all my files.I guess my problem is that it seems to me ,my peers are not connecting to me. Especialy when there is more than one user.It says connecting, then nothing.I have tried switching supernodes .nothing.I even tried making a supernode list.Something I read somewhere. PLEASE HELP
I havnt used that program for a very long time, but it could be because the newer versions of the software dont connect to the older versions. Im not going to fanboy any other programs, but there are other filesharing programs out there that IMHO are much better, with fewer fakes.
Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be.
I'll fanboy Ares every time.

Just remember to opt out of NavHelper during the install. It's spyware. And Ares works just fine without it.
Many good choices to be found there. Forget about Kazaa.Originally Posted by Auggie2k
Yep, check out something else. I'd personally recommend Limewire first (yeah, I'm a fan boy :) ) and Ares second. The fact is that these programs will do the job better, faster, and take less work then Kazaa will be.
On a side note, it's sad really - when Sharman Networks took down Kazaa Lite, they were really just killing themselves. K++ was the only reason left to use the Fasttrack network - now the only people left are n00bs and the RIAA.
HELLO again, I am thinking of switching file sharing programs but I am just not sure which one to go with! I guess it's like buying a car.All auto companies and their owners like to say that there's is the best. But who really knows.FORD does!! BUT I was wondering what you the people, think.Could an upgrade from the klite 2.4.1 to the 2.7 etc.also would I have to move and save all files I downloaded from klite. Or should I just switch? And to who?
i gave up on kazaa when the fake files started rolling in like crazy... Now i stick to bearshare pro and limewire pro. and sometimes for harder to find files i try newsgroups every so often. I wouldn't upgrade to version 2.7 there is much spyware and adware if you are going to get the original program but also there are many fakes and viruses on the fasttrack network (which kazaa runs on). No you would not have to move all of your saved files all you would have to do is redirect your shared folder to where your files are now, also if you want to make the folder your downloads folder then all you do is change the download directory. I would recommend switching, it is the best bet for you most likely just to get off the fasttrack network period!
Thanks for your input.I have a few projects that I have been working on over at klite.[can't stop now] But maybe we will be sharing over at sharebare or limeware very soon. just a reminder,Over at klite I have not recieved many fakes.it seems like MY filter has been working just fine.Ithink maybe this is the reason for the false connection notices.I'll just say thanks. For now!
fasttrack rules, i love getting viruses...
it keeps me hot
u all chit sling about kazaa but u just dont know how 2 use it there r still teh most files on kazaa but maybe ur not good enuf to get them huh lol!!1
