i myself have had very good experience with dc altho it is sort of losing its momentum
heres how i go
bittorrent - great speeds and reliable sources
dc++ - good speed (better than soulseek, taking into thought the long queues)
soulseek - i find all i want here

soulseek used to be good but nowadays so often searching for certain artists returns no matches when even 12months ago the same search would have returned many matches?
where is everyone going???????
