    Angry connection problem

My problem is that I can connect to the internet but can not connect to any webpages. I have tried to bring up webpages using AOL and internet explorer. This happened last week. Before that it was working fine. I have a Mac powerPC OS 9.2. and Internet explorer 4.5. I think it may have something to do with my connection settings but can not find the problem.............any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Well if your connected and you know that then its not your settings, maybe and recent installation messed around with your internet explorer settings?

It may be looking for a proxy server...

Make sure there isn't one configured, and that it doesn't try to "Automatically Detect Settings" (LAN Settings)

You don't port forward a mac. You port forward your router. I suppose you have a mac router ;)
