iTunes Tagging Issues

just got an ipod

and i am struggling with itunes

problem is:

When i import music to itunes library, sometimes artist name is included in song name, and some times it is not, (Note never is the artist name in song name in my tags)

Ex: Sometimes Song Name filed Shows up like: Song name
and sometimes: Artist - Song Name

i want it to show like Artist - Song Name

an option is to retag my files and include the artist name in song name, (but that will screw up my tags)

any help will be appreciated - if u havent understood my problem plz refer to links

Extract Artist From Song Name

When you add a song to your iTunes library, it will often have the artist in the song name tag. This script removes the artist name from the song name tag and puts it into the artist tag. It also removes leading and trailing spaces from both the song name tag and the artist tag. For Example "Talking Heads - Psycho Killer" would become "Psycho Killer" by "Talking Heads".
