Just wanted to know which is better in locating and deleting spyware.......Thank you for your input.
I prefer Spybot.
i use both plus microsoft's antispyware a real triple threat
ad-aware has sold out to the spyware companies by removing known spyware from their detection lists (later to add them back after complaints) i'll never trust them again
they are worthless now

I have been using Disspy, adaware, spybot, Microsofts program, and spyware blaster, but nothing will take the place of common sense.

I was going to reply both until reading the notbob post. Hmmm. Very questionable indeed. I've not scanned with it in a while (don't scan unless something strange is happening, I keep my computers pretty clean) so I'll have to see if any of what it says in those links happens when I do. I'll keep it in mind.

I have been using spybot when I put a new program on the computer. My aunt has adware on her computer so I was just wondering which was better...Thank you for your input though.
SpywareBlaster is a good one to use to prevent a lot of crap from ever getting there in the first place.

Should I delete the spybot that i have first and then install spywareblaster or does it matter? And could I download adware too and would they work together?
Im running all of them with no problem. Just install the new program alongside the ones you already have, and you will not have a problem.

I have to say it's best to have more than one.
I have Adaware,Spybot and Disspy.
Disspy has tested pretty good so far. Fairly light on the cpu, and picks up a few things the others have missed. http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4519.html

I've been using adaware and SpywareBlaster, but after reading notbob's post I may reconsider. I used to also use Webroot Spy Sweeper. Been thinking about using that again too.
