Just got a DVD burner.. now how do I copy DVD films again?

Just got my self a DVD burner and 50 blank DVD-R's :gj
I got a few questions though. How do I actually copy movies? I think I need a "decoder" right? What is a name of a DVD decoder app? Also, I have Nero OEM version, will that then copy the DVD for me? How does the whole process work? (lol, I think you can tell I have no clue what I am doing..)
