    Windows Explorer Crashing

    Everytime i load a cd-rom windows explorer crashes has anyone had the same problem or knows what the problem could be ?

    Have you tried safe mode? Updated your drivers? Does it happen with all CD-ROMS or just a particular one? Which version of Windows you using. Need more info so the site can get a better idea.

    thanks for your reply , it only happens with some , but since i have 2 pc's when i put it on the other on it doesnt happen. here's a screenshot.

    Yes more then likely conflicting sound codecs or a conflicting sound card problem.

    Check out your system device manager and look for conflicts.

    Could very well be a codec problem for sure. You should look into that first. If you have installed the "Ace" codec pack you need look no further. Thats the problem
