What do I need to do??

I've downloaded a couple of different clients now and tried about 4 BitTorrent sites but still nothing is happening for me. I just get the message 'problem connecting to tracker...' or it says it's downloading but nothing is actually happening, the the speed and transfer just stay on 0.

What do I need to do? Is it something to do with my ports or what?? I've downloaded K-Lite again and it is working fine.

It's p'ing me off because there is a couple of things on a couple of the sites that I can't find on K-Lite.

Please help someone!!

(p.s. I know I ask a lot of you kind people, but some of us aren't blessed with very big brains. I do actually have a big brain, I just haven't figured out how to use it all yet.)

Do you have a firewall up? If so you need to turn it off.

it depends on the # of seeds, if the tracker is still up ect...


have you tryed http://www.novatina.com not everything works there , and the seeds are not right but I normaly have good luck there.

try torrentspy.com also



if you have a router you will need to port forward , I have never had a problem with my norton firewall
