I doubt that very much but who knows WTF theyre up too. I don't know why they would have put cydoor in there though. Its just rumors started by people who don't like the program Im sure. It would make a nice honey pot though

v0.21 is acceptable, download is fast~ :gj
But I am sure if exeem success, we will got more choices of such kind of software(search + bittorrent), including some open source ones.... just like the development of bt clients.

There are some open source decentralized BT networks in the works now. Maybe it won't be too long in coming. Still I can't stress how bad an idea this is. If Baytsp was telling the truth about being able to locate files as soon as the first uploader ups them to the network, its not hard to believe they could do this, a network like exeem will be a trap for law suits. This is the main thing that worries me about this program. If this becomes popular enough, the MPAA will no longer chase the BT web sites, they will go after the seeders in an effort to stop exeem.

OK my exeem rant is over for today. Sorry if I offended any exeem users (eXcept one)

Mel kenosis and trackerBT are some of the open source Distributed Bitttorent efforts. Kenosis is based on Kad and one of its future goals is to provide some sort of Annominity feature using proxies and point to and end to end encryption (Sound Familair)

BTW Ants already provides a Distributed Searchable torrent like protocol .but you Zeropaid stalwarts got too bruised up by ES5 to revisit any annonymous p2p apps .

Notice no one from Zeropiad ever cracked Ants security after 6 months of bitching about it .

WE DID NOT FUCKING GET TOO FUCKING HURT BY FUCKING ESV TO USE FUCKIN anTS. WE ARE NOT FUCKING SCARED OF THE FUCKING RIAA AT THIS FUCKING STAGE, SO THERE ARE BETTER AND MUCH FUCKING FASTER WAYS OF GETTING OUR FUCKING FILES.

    Clear?

And eXeem being a honeypot? What a joke. They have fasttrack for that. If they were going to create one, then it wouldn't have ads which put off the hardcore sharers.

As with all new systems, it will be a while before anyone gets sued for using eXeem.

Ants is a great project, it truely is, but please, for the sake of the program, give it a rest.

Now now don't swear, exeem will never be a hit with me, it's too 'fake'? I just don't like its bittorrent ways. My opinion, criticism not accpetc.

You didnt get the memo? The MPAA is looking into BT for some reason I don't know why. FT is the RIAA baby. Don't get caught with your hand in either one. Maybe they didn't make the honey pot but that doesnt mean they don't know where it is.

How long is awhile? I just want to use it until they start sueing people.

Higher end of 1 to 2 years. Perhaps longer.

I cant think of any networks they have attacked before that.

anything is possible, speaking of that who has "What The Fuck Do We Know" the documentary that movie really could use distro as its most pertinent to our definition of life and choices we make leading to infinite possibilities..

as far as being sued being possible sure any network ANTS maybe not so easy . a closed trusted WASTE darknet also
i'd say it would realy depend on what you get and who is looking to stop what (who even being a preprogrammed robot that does bulk mailings to isps based on IP's to send out bulk john doe lawsuits)

honestly myself i say screw that mainstream stuff as i know it will get my in trouble and has and i don't have much of a taste for it anyways.. i like the underground its more from a place of the artists heart where they are OK with sharing and per donation benefit style systems of economy and not selling out to the lifeless institutions.

i have a vision of more and more art coming out in this realm , from the joy of giving to others to share and create , as seen by the open source model.. also i have a vision of more stuff. coming out 'illegal open source' knowingly taking the concept of 'owned ideas' and sharing them for collective benefit of life (us) WASTE would be an example of this i remember all the copyleft kids being "Up in arms" about the fact AOL 'owned' and nobody had better ever work on the code.

    hahahaha

well people have a wonderful inspirational insightful day.
