    dBpoweramp

I've recently downloaded dBpowerAMP so that I can rip my CDs into MP3.
I am using a DVD 16x burner, the problem being its taking up to 1 hour to rip each CD, surely its alot quicker then this. Any tips would be much appreciated.

Click on Options, and you can see what speed you're currently ripping at, and maybe see if "slow ripping" (I think that's what it's called) is checked.

There also a "Rip to RAM" option that greatly increases the rip speed...although I think that may be only with the Power Pack...

Is the CD terribly scratched? B/c that would force the drive to spin slower. Otherwise, follow Potato's advice. If that's not the problem, try another CD, another program, and, ultimately, another drive.
