Unhappy Bittorrent uses up all my bandwidth!

I use Shareaza to download bit torrent files on adsl and I would like to be able to still use the internet with a decent speed. Is there away to limit bitorrent download to say half my bandwidth. Another client? or using Shareaza?

PS: the little slider thing in Shareaza no limit bandwidth doesnt seem to affect bittorrent files...

    Thanks alot,

    Sam

I use BitComet and it doesn't use up all my resources.
It's important also to limit your upload bandwidth!
I find if I leave my upload unlimited I have problems ,but if I limit it, everything works fine.

And all the links to torrent sites are dead or they need a new server...

In BitComet there is an option when you go to Open torrent to ''resume'' a download. Now isnt it possible to resume a download downloaded in sharaza? it is still a torrent file just different client. Shareaza gives the torrent a hash/code and I belive it is unique? So cant I put that file in the BitComet download folder then go to open torrent>resume and it should start off were it left off...I know it is possible to resume a download in shareaza that is corrupted or incomplete you just have to find the same file again...I hope I make sence.
