    Phillips 642 and XviD

It appears that phillips 642 Models no longer like the open source XviD encoded moives while they produce sharp quality on your PC with little file size the XviD codec version 1.03 is very buggy I have had an avg of 2 out of 10 movies that I was able to play using the XviD 1.03 codec...

So for reccomendations steer clear of XviD 1.03 if your burning movies for your set top DVD/DivX player it is not supported!

You will get jerky or blocky movies and some that give you an error codec not supported...

I have to do further testing to see if it may be another issue as lately I have been using XviD 1.03 720 fixed width with forced sharp mpeg matrix...

I almost wonder if the forced sharp mpeg matrix has anything to do with it.

Just a heads up further testing to be done.
