Need help with Ares please

i just downloaded ares and its great until i try to search for a song or any other media....it just says "performing search" and never comes up with any results..i have waited for hours and it never brings anything up....how can i fix this?? thanks

More then likely it is your internet configuration weather it'd be the firewall on your router or a software firewall.

im just searching for songs to put on some cds....and its not just my computer its on other PCs too....

maybe youre connected to a dead supernode? try disconnecting and re-connecting?

like others have said maybe its your internet provider?
how about doing this to make sure its not ares, download limewire and try to search for what you want there. If u can download from limewire, then its not your internet provider, it may be that ares doesnt have the files that you want on its network.

just try this.
do this with at least 2 different p2p programs to see if its really your internet provider.
