Laf, the smashing pumkins zero is a copy of the ZERO skate company logo. and if you want to know a ZP secret... the day i came up with name zeropaid, the ZERO skate logo was on my desktop. and the word zeropaid, has nothing to do with stealing music or getting anything for free. zeropaid is a state of mind.

Zeropaid has nothing to do with piracy, but just happens to have a lot of links to filesharing programs that are currently being dragged through the courts by the RIAA for music piracy.

when i came up with the name, we had no idea we would do a site on file sharing. i just thought it was a cool URL.
whatever you meant, it is still easy to construe zeropaid as something for nothing.
it really does have a sense of free files...
like you work and make something and we get it and don't pay you :-)

We first started out as a hotline portal, several days later we thought it would get boring quickly if zp was all about hotline. so zp became 'the file sharing portal'.
Zp does just fine.
