    Limewire-Cannot connect

Folks: I am trying to use Limewire 2.6.5 with Windows 98SE behind a router connected to Hi-Speed cable Internet. My Internet connection is fine but I keep getting the message "Disconnected/no files available" with Limewire when I try to search. When I click on file and connect, same story. How can I fix this? Thanks a lot.

Yep, grab the latest version from www.limewire.com

Protocalls change every now and then, and to ensure you can properly connect to the network, make sure you're running the latest version. Currently, the latest version is 4.2.6: http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...loadfree.shtml

Also, the latest version of LimeWire works great through firewalls (last I heard it supported firewall to firewall connections), and I've never had a problem with it connecting from behind a router.
