Port test fails...but I still get a High ID!?

I have a High ID of 1366632661, but when I do the port test in the preferences the test fails. I have 1mbit ADSL, and I have been downloading at 48kb/s max, only half of my possible downstream speed. I'm behind a router and have forwarded all the appropriate ports.

Emule has been running for 5 hours, 8 active downloads with 15 in total on the queue, I have uploaded 310mb, I have 1855 on my upload queue, and all my downloads have nice deep blue progress bars with "180/190 sources" being the lowest on any of the active downloads.

I was wondering if I need to fix the problem behind the port test to get the most out of my connection, anybody got any ideas/tips?

    Thanks.

that's pretty good for the ed2k network. don't expect to download any faster regularly on this network--it's just the way it is.

Darn, thats annoying, although since posting I have seen my speeds peak at 60kb/s and stabilising at around 54kb/s.

Anybody got any ideas about the port test failing?

No, it doesn't need fixing. My guess would be that the port test fails because emule/edonkey is already using this port. Next time you run the test try disconnecting from the network first.

To be honest I've never had this problem with Edonkey so I may be wrong but I have had the exact same thing happen with bittorent and that was the reason. Besides your speeds seem OK so if ain't broke don't fix it.
