hello, im just wondering how can i play a PAL ps2 game file?? i got my mod chip but it apper that the TV screen is black/white and jumping. please help if you know....
Looks like your TV can only handle NTSC format instead of both PAL & NTSC formats like some do. So, may be one of your friend have a TV can display PAL format!
I believe many computer monitors support PAL, so if you could find a proper converter...
My current setup stats (like anyone cares...):
ASUS A8N32-SLI Motherboard
AMD 4400+ Dual-Core CPU
Windows Vista (Ultimate 32bit)
2 GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS RAM
2x250 GB (in RAID 0) HDDs
EVGA GeForce 7950 GTX 512 MB
Creative X-FI Fatal1ty XtremeGamer
Also sporting a black MacBook
Revision/Release 1
Upgraded to 2GB RAM.
cool, so...how do i know the TV can handle PAL and NTSC or one of each?/ btw you say i need a converter to hook my ps2 to a computer moniter...but what stuff are those? as i never seven hear of it...sorry >.<
Check the remote control came with your TV, if there is a button for Setup then may be you can check to see display default settings for switching between PAL,NTSC or both formats.
To add to DigitalJunkie: you might also check the manual :)... notice that if it's written in about 200 languages (ok, exaggeration.. but at least 5 and has funky characters (aka Asian languages) then it's most likely PAL compatible.
To hook up a ps2 to a TV you need a special converter that I don't believe is sold in any retail stores. Here's something like what I'm talking about: http://www.micronica.com.au/catalog/gcombo/
