    Ripmap

The day is 25 December 2004 and some new thing called Ripmap’s was announced and its first technical paper was published upon a un-expecting world.

Ripmap is just another chapter in social phenomena that is p2p. Ripmap is the way of decentralised peer to peer tracker would operate. Ripmap is an Open Source project which is looking for developers to join it to bring this technology in to reality.

So if can help in the effort or just have a view then go and join us at

Now that is very interesting now if the trackers only logged ID's rather then IP connections and encrypted the points of connection as well as the contents of the file being sent that would be one hellacious way to BT again for many.

Any way you look at it its a step forward the encryption masterminds I am sure will devise a plan wich will prove to be completely anonymous and encrypted as well for Bit Torrent its only a matter of time.

Good PDF file and good post.
