    Smile XoloX v2.0

This program is a great alterative to "Morpheus". It connects to the NeOnet, FastTrack, Gnutella 1&2, and eDonkey Networks. It has a slow start up especially if you are sharing a lot of files because it will hash them each time you start up the program. It functioned very well on my computer with fast downloads and uploads. Has very good search results.
It is exactly like Morpheus with NO spyware or adware. I believe this program will really take off after everyone tries it out. It still has a few minor bugs such as not responding sometimes. You will have to end task with the taskmanager, but that was the same problem that I had with Morpheus sometimes.

    Thanks. :;)

    Littlebits, you are absolutely wrong.
Morpheus v4.2+ (4.6.1) are far more advanced then XoloX v2.0. As to network updates, performance, stability and other stuff. If you want to get the best out of NEO Network, I suggest you stick to Morpheus and continue to get the updated versions on a regular basis.

Sure if you like trojans and malware installed on your computer then use morpheous.IF you like your computer to crash.

It sure works better on my computer, I still have the lattest version of Morphues which I am going to un-install. All of the adware programs are removed and still I don't know if you know but everytime you open Morpheus it tries to add a bunch of tracking cookies to Internet Explorer. I have my options set up to ask me before setting a cookie, and there was about 15 or more tracking cookies trying to get added to Internet Explorer each time the program is running. This is very much a security risk. When you run XoloX only one cookie tries to get added that is "xolox.nl" which is NOT a tracking cookie.

XoloX is a much safer program than Morpheus is with NO spyware or adware in the installer, and it did NOT preform any less on my computer than what Morpheus did.
Maybe it doesn't have the advanced technology as Morpheus does, but I sure could not tell the difference when testing both of them out. Also this program is still under development and will improve. What I do not understand is the exe's for both XoloX and Morpheus are both by Streamcast and all the files in the program folders are almost and some are exactly the same but with the names changed a little but you can re-name them and switch them around between eachother and both will still function the same way.
I am a computer programmer and it does appear that these files are the same as eachother but with different names to suit the program.

    Thanks.

One thing, Morpheus does not add a "bunch" of tracking cookies to IE. FastClick cookie is the only one, and if you have Spy Sweeper running, it will automaticly remove the cookie for you.
Downloads will be faster with Morpheus, same with searches from Gnutella and NEO. XoloX 2.0 also uses a much older version of GnucDNA.

There was so many tracking cookies that Morpheus tries to set in Internet Explorer, that I could really count them all, here is a few that I remember from "ShopfromHome.com", "WebeBates.com", "adtracker.com", "gator.com", "adserver.com", and "bannerads.casino.net". I have the lattest paid version of SpySweeper, but it still doesn't get all of the tracking cookies just the most obviuos ones.
For the GnucDNA, if you will go into the program files of both Morpheus and XoloX you will find that they are exactly the same version.

    Thanks. :;)

And you, Vampmon, profess to be an intelligent supporter of Zeropaid, yet you use Morpheus? WTF?

hmm rebirth . I dont like it either and for good reason. I like xolox and used it in the past.
In the end what matters with the user of a p2p program is the quality of the program.

I tried morp in the past and i still hate that gui bug, in fact i tried it several weeks ago to test something and it still has that error where u click on the morpheous application and nothing will launch, and this bug is been like this for a long time. morpheous is not a very good gnutella client.

I do also agree that LimeWire is the best stand alone Gnutella client for great searches and great download speeds, but for some reason I always get a lot more Gnutella uploads on Shareaza than any other Gnutella client. Shareaza also does NOT slow down the computer like the others do. I just wished that Shareaza had NeOnet and FastTrack support. XoloX is really a good NeOnet and eDonkey client, but it does lack some Gnutella support. I believe that it is much better than Morpheus. Morpheus is trying to make everyone believe that their NeOnet is the best, but I just tell people to try XoloX and compare them, then you will be able to choose for yourself.

    Thanks, :bling
