With limited hard drive keeping large movie files conflict. I need to know how to split avi. , mpeg. and others into chunks for storage and playback onto a blank CD(s). Some easy to use proggie is what I need, maybe. Thanks for any help.
For AVIs, there is AVIChop it doesn't always work & I've not use it before. For, mpeg you can use TMPGenc mpeg tools. Personally, I just back them up on CD & DVD disks, much easier!
easy video splitter works well for me. Most of the time i cut credits and intros off movies so i can fit them on one cdr.

Thanks, I'll checkout those proggies.
You could also use Hjsplit. http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/#win32
It will split the files up into what ever size you want and then you can use the program to rejoin them to their original form later on.
