Help!!! I Can't Connect in Blubster 1.2.3.
I am using windows xp and have a cable modem and my firewell is disabled somebody please help
:shy ..ok...I'll take a stab at it...
1) completely uninstall Blubster...then reinstall a clean version of Blubster 1.2.3. see if that solves the problem.
2) are you sure your XP firewall is turned off?? verify.
Actually ..you could prowl around in the firewall settings and set the rules to allow UDP protocol - as well as TCP .( UDP is the protocol Blubster uses). And still have the 'firewall' running...'protecting' you.
This is the most common reason why people can't connect to Blubster.
3) try using another filesharing program ..to verify you can send and receive files...and that the problem is not connection related.
4) is your computer password 'protected'?
