    where is the most activity in a computer? ram cpu or harddrive???

    7200 RPM HDD min.
    512 MB RAM min.
    2.4 GHZ min processor

    Almost all information is computed using the CPU, therefore, no matter what your hardware, the CPU will use the most. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but all information must pass through the CPU for it to be written to either memory (RAM) or disk (Hard Drive).
    How's about them apples?
