    NAT/TCP help.

    Hello,
I am experiencing all the typical things associated with NAT not working due to a firewall or router which is beyond my control... (Have tried the NAT test in config on many different ports but none work, tried disabling enabling UPnP, can't do portforwarding due to not having router access)

However, although azureus and msn cannot use TCP the strange thing is that another P2P program called kazaa lite resurrection seems to be able to use TCP, and get good speeds as well..

I have tried using the same ports as it on Azureus but no luck either. If this is an obvious answer, please say because I am baffled as to why TCP is working with that and not with Azureus or MSN messenger.

I am back home briefly (as the connection that I am complaining about is at university accommodation) and am now considering HTTP tunelling if there is an explanation for the kazaa lite resurrection thing (ie. it uses some other protocol).

Also if there is a useful HTTP tunelling tutorial or faq on the internet if you wouldn't mind linking me (planning to use a mates pc here at home as a http tunnel)

    Cheers for the help

Well, you're going to need router access for the following guide, but never the less, here's Shareaza's guide to port forwarding (it'll work the same with other clients, just change the port numbers)
