    hmmm....
I have heard the exact opposite and avoided it like the plague. It is supposedly funny though...

Check out Romero's Night of the Living Dead or Dawn of the Dead if you want to see a good zombie/horror flick (especially the latter).
"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice… The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."

Ohhh damn, that's a good one! I gew up watchign 80's horror, and that's one of my all time favorites. Yeah, you get zombies, tits, more zombies.... it's just great. The sequel, Return of the Living Dead 2, is even better.
No matter what the Italian horror and Romero purist uptight skirt wearing homos tell you, watch this movie... then watch 2 and 3.

So what then? If you get a majority of the people here saying it's good, you're gonna check it out? Guess my point is...who starts a thread about something they haven't seen if it's been out 19 years? Check out Leonard Maltin.com or something.

    Does not compute.

Check it out - I recommend it. I've got nearly every zombie movie ever made and I've watched it more than once - which means it's good...!

It is kinda strange to start a thread about a very old movie if you do not think you will watch it.

I would say again, check it out. Brain eating is always fun to watch. What others think about the movie doesnt matter, watch it and decide for your self.

I like when the medics keep showing up only to be like, huh what? arghhhhhhh!

I have seen about every zombie movie ever made and I would have to say the one asked about in this thread was the funniest out of the bunch. Watching it as a kid I laughed my ass off. I watched it here again a few months back with near the same amuzement I had as a young one, nostalgia is a good thing.

My favorite zombie movie of all time would have to be Day Of The Dead, the acting and somber atmosphere brought about by the actor's attitude is unparalleled and very beleivable if the world were truly ruled by zombies.
