I'm a newbie and i have a problem.
i use dc++ and i want to download a movie.
download stops at 99,9% and then it doesn't go further.
in status line sais: waiting for users (19 out of 29) or... running... and then again searches or waits users...
but the users have free slots :(
what shall i do?
it's the same when i downloaded a game...
please help

close the program... and try to open whatever it was.
it's probably an unsaveable file like a thumbs.db
what if it doesnt work?
how to run it and in wich program.
the full name of file is:
IMS-DFBD.BIN.3INB7WOV4MDKUXH5QW7HTIB52M5WEN2ZXRCTKRA.d ctmp
and it should be a image file to burn. i also tried to rename it in:
IMS-DFBD.BIN
but nero sais: Unexpected file format...

Well "*.dctmp" PRObably means it's not done yet, so it's a temp, renaming it wont work, keep downloading it.

what's its intended filename? just rename it to something like that, with the right extension.
Well, also, when you have a .bin file, you MUST have a .cue sheet to burn it. That's why Nero gave you an error. Look for the .cue file from the same file, and try to rename it and burn the bin, using the cue (open up the cue only) file.
If there is no CUE file, you can use WinISO to convert the BIN file to ISO file first then use Nero to burn it!

what about for the movies?
i have dirty dancing 2 99,99% finished and i can view it only with avi preview.
even if i rename it, bs player sais: Unexpected file format or someting simmilar.
would it help if i turn 'skip zero bite files' ?
