    trouble with my isp

This is my first posting to this site so please forgive me if i do not phrase my question correctly. I was able to increase my bittorrent speed with the help of this site, however my isp (a major cable company) shut down my access saying that a major motion picture studio complained specifically about me because i waqs sharing a file.
Is there anyway to cover my tracks while i am downloading and uploading and do you think i am now flagged by my isp to make sure i dont use bittorrent anymore. The isp guy told me to delete the downloaded file and delete bittorrent. If anyone has any ideas i would be extremely grateful, as i was able to download my usable files in my standalone and it was great.
    thanks

get a new isp or move to canada or just ignore your isp friend and keep on dling! if it [the internet] is really important for some reason [pr0n] use irc or newsgroups instead of bittorent
It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

That's the weakness of BT. Everything is wide out in the open. Your ISP has every right to cancel your service based on complaints from the MPAA or whoever.

You could try something else. Newsgroups, IRC, eDonkey.

I can see IRC and Newsgroups being a better choice, but eDonkey is right up there with Bittorrent when it comes to anonymity.

Yeh...every right given to them by the good 'ol Yew-Knighted States Government! For the Corporation by the Government.

There are only a few anonymous connection options, and some are slower than others. IRC, Edonkey, and even newsgroups track IP addresses...take a look at:

I used to enjoy the luxury of having a fast connection based download neighborhood, but ever since a run-in with the local BSA, I'm ten times more of a pirate, just an anonymous pirate.
