Every K-lite site wants to you PAY

K-Lite is supposed to be freeware. Is there anywhere (safe) that I can download it for free without having to sign up for some subscription? Or is that just how it works?
Sorry about tyring to save $40 here - but it says it's freeware!

All those sites are 100% scam! Don't ever pay for kazaa lite(if you want it). I dunno, try kazaa lite revolution, but i highly reccomend ares, www.aresgalaxy.org <---don't forget do unclick the toolbar etc. Maybe you'd like to check out a list of scam sites. Don't be fooled.

Frankly, I dont know why excrement like this is so routinely allowed here. The guy asks for a free place to download a free application, and your solution is "Kazaa is gay". In what universe is that an answer to the question?

If you want Kazaa Lite, go to filemirrors.com and type "kazaa" in the search engine. You get 30 results or so. One of them appears to be Kazaa Lite. Failing that, download any of them (preferably not the original Kazaa due to it's spyware), run Kazaa (whatever version you got) and then search for Kazaa Lite within Kazaa.

Or of course you can use WinMX. I mean...you have a brain, right?

I WOULD recommend Ares (www.softgap.com) OR Morpheus with NEOnet (www.morpheus.com)
Morpheus does not install any type of Spyware. Morpheus 4.5 only comes bundled with a toolbar, and thats it, you can uninstall it without crippling Morpheus. Check out the advantages of NEO Network compared to others: www.neonetwork.com/advantage.html

I Pointed all that out before anyone even tries to say Morpheus contains Spyware, and believe me Morpheus WILL improve further in the future, just wait and see :)

Stop giving your network of choice. The poster wants Kazaa lite. If they wanted something else I'm sure they would have asked for it. Every thread seems to degrade into what other posters want some one else to use.

Thanks - I'm fairly new to the world of filesharing, although I used to use AudioGalaxy. I actually downloaded KLitefrom filesharingplace.com, but I'm a little wary, as these programs appear to be personally modified (?) and not affiliated with anything. If you guys tell me to trust any KLite that I get from that site, I'll go ahead and install it, but I guess you could say I'm using my brain...

we should be doing everything to encourage the new people(i refuse to call them n00bz) or kazaa lite diehards to use kazaa(lite) and the fasttrack network in general and being hooking up with the appropriate software. It helps keep the RIAA on FT and off real networks like BT and such

Yes maybe you have not seen the light yet...get off kazaa, i take back my 'reccomend', you should try out anything you want, see what suits you best, it annoys me when people keep referring otheres to other programs, if you want to stay on fasttrack, do so. But be open to other proggs:blah
