    Modestas, just to point out that you keep referring to applications' 'databases'. P2P applications simply don't have databases - I think you're referring to the files available on the network.

    Try out a verified link site such as <shameless advertising>PeerWeb</shameless advertising>.

    You could check the movie with VLC player before trying to download the whole movie.

    I recently downloaded a 4 part movie. The damn thing was almost 4gb. And it turned out to be in German!!

    You may also want to check "File Info" on eMule or hit the plus button next to the filename in the transfers window to see any indication of language.

    yeah it's easy to use VLC player to preview .part files but most of the time, eDonkey warns me if it's fake then i just expand my download sources to check others filename.

    I would warn against this though. It might just be my bad luck but I was previewing a file with VLC and the next time I tried starting emule it kept crashing. I deleted my download and all was fine, except I lost my download.
