Problem with Local Area Network when running eDonkey or eMule.

Whenever I am running eDonkey or eMule my local area network says a cable is unplugged then says network is connected every few minutes. Needless to say this is makeing it VERY hard to get anything downloaded. I have made sure that I have the newest versions and have installed the patch for sp2 but it has not got any better. Has anyone else had a problem like this and how can I go about fixing it.

Maybe a buggy network card driver.

If you have a NAT router then it might be crashing due to firmware bugs. Watch the lights on
it, does it look like it is rebooting when the problem occours? Load the latest firmware on to it.
