What I have been using when I have video problems, is VLC player. It will play pretty much anything with no added codecs. http://www.videolan.org/

Thank you for the quick reply. I 've just downloaded it and i'll let you know how it goes.

    Thank you.

Update: All other forms of video work in VLC so i'm guessing this one and most of the others were fakes. (Will add warning on file messages) Thanks for the help anyway.

    use gspot.

Next time use Gspot to identify the media type, so you can download appropriate codecs.

And just an idea, I think it was a Real Media file you had. Did you have realplayer installed?

If you dont want to use Real player, you can use real alternative.http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...lternative.htm

Since you are using eMule, you can download part file plug-in for VLC player to preview movie. So, by the time you finish download you'll know it's real!
