    About Burma

    Hi all,

Do you guys happen to know my country, Myanmar (formly known as Burma)?
How about our real lead Daw Aung San Suu Kyi? (www.dassk.com)

If so, I'd like to discuss with you about the political condition in my country. The junta has been ruling and destorying my mother land more than 50 years.

    Later.

    Regards,
    ILoveBURMA

'our real leader' to clarify and cool, fight the power

Despite multiparty elections in 1990 that resulted in the main opposition party - the National League for Democracy (NLD) - winning a landslide victory, the ruling junta refused to hand over power. NLD leader and Nobel Peace Prize recipient AUNG SAN SUU KYI, who was under house arrest from 1989 to 1995 and 2000 to 2002, was arrested in May 2003 and is currently under house arrest. Her supporters are routinely harassed or jailed.

got that from world factbook for anyone confused
It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Yes, those of us who like to stay informed know about Burma... it makes it really clear that the White House really isn't concerned at all with democracy in the rest of the world (not to mention right here).
