    ftp

holle every one, this is my very first thread in this forum and I minght sound very amateur in my question. Very soon I am going to change my job and i want to transfer my documents on the web in order to access them from my new working place. I have tired to register in many free ftp sites but I haven't been successful. Can any one tell me what to do or recomend me a free site that offers this service?

Is it possible to burn them to a CD? If so, that would be your best bet.

Plus storing personal documents of yours on FTP sites is a HUGE security risk.

one secure way of transfering the documents is using a program called foldershare located at www.foldershare.com It should allow you to safely transfer your documents

You could setup a firewall to protect your FTP that blocks all IP's from that port except the known IP of your office, that is, if it's static. This would be an FTP server hosted on your home computer.

I agree that burning a CD would be easiest.
    How's about them apples?
