Doom III...Comments

Yo! I have just bought Doom III and I think its off the charts. Runs great on my system,

just wanted to open the floor for comments from others on the game! :devil

Doom 3 would have been a good looking game if it wasn't so dark.

If like horror games where the monsters pops out at you from behind then you probably going to like Doom 3.

Personally I found that the gameplay was repetitive.

As someone who is so adamantly Christian in all of his posts, including one on Johnny Cash, why in the world have you decided to play a game with such demonic characteristics ?

On topic: the game is very good. I love it, though my system isn't good enough to run it proficiently.

Look people, yes Im a christian but Im not perfect, I still get caught up in all sorts of wrong stuff.

I enjoyed the game, definatly repetitive, but still enjoyable if you liked the last doom.

Thats just as "Wrong" as people saying he is shoving it down other peoples throats. Stop shoving it his face as an offensive verbal assault when the topic is completely unrelated.

And Doom 3 is a very good Christian game. You are sending demons and monsters back to hell, what could be more Christian than that? :tilted

Seriously, i do not see anything wrong with a Christian playing doom 3. Only the idiot die hard religious zealots find harm in games such as doom 3. it is a game, you are playing a good guy, end of story.

All this religious talk makes me proud to be agnostic.

Doom3 was okay, but waaaaay overhyped. The point of the entire game is opening doors. Wow. That's been done how many different times?

Seriously what do demons have to do with cristianity, No where does it state that some demon came from hell and killed anyone. You never hear of any zombie mentioned in the bible. Seriously im technically cristian but im not a believer, all cristians just make these insane connections that make no sense into their life just to reasure themsevles they are right. Like people dreaming about their loved ones after they die and their like weird. Guess what the persons on your mind what do you expect. Like comon people.

Yet again it was a tongue in cheek comment, you people are the ones who make normal Christians look bad. demons are a representation of evil, a synonym i you will. You are casting out demons. And how the hell can you say demons were never mentioned in the bible? Have you ever read the bible: or scripture speaking of demons or possessed individuals?

Yes but none of those demons are the same as those to which all videogames and movies represent them as. I cant stand how people can say it looks evil and they dont like it because it looks like the devil. Again correct me if im wrong but the devil is actually a really magnificant looking angel, in fact the most beautifull one. So how can a demonic looking thing look like that. Get my point?

You misunderstood my point. I wasn't attacking Christianity or his religious ideals. I respect all others' beliefs. I was merely poking fun at his post to that Johnny Cash thread which was _completely_ unrelated to the original topic. Sometimes I'm an asshole, and sometimes I am unlikable. Intolerant is something I am not. :-)
