OK i have been trying to manually fix my IE problems (Thread: IE HELP!!! Posted: hawkburn) but nothing worked, and some people suggested repairing IE, well i went to Add/Remove Windows Components and click IE but there is no repair option, does anyone know how to "repair IE" in Windows XP?

why don't u just try installing a fresh copy of IE over the one u currently have? that might fix it
i tried that, the installation proggy only downloaded 20 kb, it tooks 2 secs to install, and it didnt require a restart, my problem still remained and even my home page was still the same :(

You cannot repair IE in XP until you have upgraded IE at least once....then it will appear in Add/Remove Programs.
Try this site, it helped me: Internet Explorer Help
that helped, i edited my registry, then reinstalled, and it works now!
