Unhappy NAV 2003 Pro w/ Mozilla

Does anyone else here use Norton Antivirus 2003 Pro? If so, do you also use Mozilla 1.1's mail client? For some reason, I can't access any pop or smtp mail servers when I have Norton's email protection feature activated. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem and found a way to use Norton's email scanning in conjunction with Mozilla's mail client. Thanks.

I used NAV 2002 with Mozilla, and everything worked fine. Once I upgraded though, mail scanning just turned to shit. It's ok now though, I'm using Panda.
