    trojan issue

hey guys need the experts help on this one

its in reference to my other thread, like I said I received a trojan from a websight, and nothing was picked up from the scan. However I did manually delete the internet files right after i got the warning. No registry values were added

my question to you is? at the time I was in the middle of cracking
and burning it to a cd. I may be paranoid when I ask you this but could there been a chance that those iso images of were possibly infected? I was told that iso images cant give out trojans or viruses and cant get infected by them. Are those people wrong?

    thanx again

Could be a chance but unlikely. If the scan didn't pick it up then it's probably a false possitive. An ISO image when burned to a disc can certainly contain a Virus.

You might want to remove the name of the ISO, from the thread

best way to check if ur system is infected with trojan is to install a firewall and see what is trying to access the internet

    try zonealarm

and many times it happens that a virus sits in system restore folder and, will not be pciked up by an antivirus, hence i recommend disabling system restore function, and reboot, and rescan ur system,
if u have NAV, then u can remove /system volume information from exceptions

Well you might need to "purchase" Outpost Firewall Pro Find it here. . As suggested below once you "purchase" the firewall you can track what software is attempting to send or recieve information from the internet. hope this helps ya!.
