does anyone know of a plugin that will allow you to get the paste off a link like you need to do on a site like packetnews, so you will be able to paste the notepaded data?? thanks in advance.

When the acceptance box pops up you make it a rule that only those types of links are given the OK in your browser. Of course if Packetnews or Ircspy are hijacked by a hacker or the owners turn evil there's no protection from that. :;)
