Problem after switching torrent clients

I was using Bit Tornado and it was working great but I read stuff that said Azureus was better so I downloaded that and installed it. Unfortunately it downloaded way slower than Bit Tornado did on my computer. So, I uninstalled Azureus and reinstalled Bit Tornado. When i tried to download something with Bit Tornado I got an error that said "unable to forward port via upnp." I tried again and it worked somehow but now it is only a fraction of the download speed it used to be. Does anyone think that Azureus did something to my port connections and now Bit Tornado is messed up? I use a router btw. Please help!

Nevermind, I fixed it...I had to open up specific ports on my router and then specify those ports on Bit Tornado. Now I get great speeds!
