    Gmail invite link broken???

    Hey everybody!

About a week ago I was lucky enough to open a gmail account, and yesterday I received 6 invites to give away! The link shows up in my inbox, however nothing happens when I click on it. Is gmail having problems at the moment, or am I doing somthing wrong??

    Thanx for any help/advice!!!

    peace....

I think what he means is the link to send invites is not working. Why it is not working is beyond me. My only suggestion is either contact google or wait it.

U'r right black_magic! Why would i need more than 1 gmail account? I wanna send them to some of my friends, but I guess Gmail is having problems with their servers or somthing!

    Thx...

No harm done! It's all good...

I'm advertising mine on msn messenger and it appears that barely anybody has a clue what gmail is! If I'm still stuck with mine in a couple of days, I'll be giving them away to ppl on zeropaid!!!

The invite window in Gmail is a pop up, if you have service pack 2 installed you will have to hold down "ctrl" to let IE open the invite window.
Because of this ANY pop up blocker will kill the window unless you give google
pop up rights in the manager of your blocker.

    Cheers

That would explain it! I have norton internet security 2004 installed. I hope the gmail programmers change that. A newbie might think his mouse is broken or somthin'!

Yeah if you got Norton internet security (2003 or 2004 and possibly other versions as well) you can't open pop-ups in gmail like 'contacts' or the 'invites'. Symantec (Norton creators) are aware of this, and are working on a solution (or so I've read).

A simple solution would be for it to be automatically off at GMail.

Perhaps that would be too simple.

i'm facing problems on getting gmail to open in `ie'... has anyone else faced the same problem? any inputs appreciated... pupudada

p.s.: after the login and password screen, another screen appears, which just shows `Loading....' on the top left of the screen and after a few seconds, the screen becomes blank and no signal outwards or inwards!
