    Angry Ares problem

When ever I run Ares, my CPU usage goes to 100%, and on the task manager, is says that it is "System" that is using all my CPU. I'm on windows 2000. Any ideas to help with this?

    Thanks,

    David :green3

Hmm..... Did you remember to uncheck the ads when installing, or did you just keep clicking next. Might have added some bad stuff elsewhere too.

Ares runs fine on my second comp, whitch is a piece of ass on a rope. So, I don't it's a hardware issue.

yup - no ads. the same thing happens with the lite version. Hunter was giving me some help\moral support over in General Problems. Maybe someone in here has an answer.

The Lite version of Ares shouldn't do that....maybe you have something running in the back ground

Nope. The usage goes up tp 100% when it launches and falls to 1-2% after I close it. it's ares. (and ares lite). I really liked the program. it sucks that it's doing this. Oh yeah, i almost forgot. It used to work fine, then all of a sudden it stopped.
