    Keyboard Trouble

I'm having a lot of trouble with my keyboard. When I try to boot it freezes at the startup screen and my PC makes a loud high pitch noise. When I boot with the keyboard unplugged it works fine. I thought the keyboard was broke so I bought a new one with the same results. I tried uninstalling the driver but nothing happens. The weird thing is when I plug the keyboard in after booting it works fine. Anyone have any idea what is wrong?

Sounds like you have a stuck key. Hardware problems man. Take all the keys off and find the offending key. If you can't, get a new keyboard.
    How's about them apples?

When did you start having this problem?

If he had a stuck key though he would be having trouble typing while in Windows, also he tried it with a new keyboard, is there anything in your desk that may be pushing any buttons or anything?

Maybe its a problem with his BIOS, have you tried flashing your BIOS?
Maybe your motherboard manufacturer has a windows based flash where you dont
need to load CMOS to update it.

I dont know, besides that also check the FAQ or forums of your motherboard manufacturer, and documentation that came with your board and see if it mentions anything.

If you have a multimeter you could check the voltages on the PS/2 keyboard port
of your motherboard and see if they are in the correct voltage ranges.

More than likely you probably either have a problem with your motherboard or BIOS,
I would recommend clearing the CMOS but there might be a problem with you booting
to Windows if you cant access the CMOS to configure the boot device order.

    This is a tough one. : /
